Interactive books for the Wii and DS

The Sword of OZRemember the days before Tomb Raider? Ian Livingstone didn’t know his Eidos from his elbow. But he did write some incredibly popular books. Along with Steve Jackson the pair made a fortune writing books where the reader made the important decisions – run or fight, help or hinder, that sort of thing. Well now someone has picked up the idea and has produced interactive books that can be read on a variety of internet enabled devices-including the DS and Wii.

Writer Darren Reid has written a prequel to his best selling series The Chronicle of the Shadow, as well as a prequel to the Wizard of Oz. They intend to have quite a few releases over the coming months, including some classics such as Around the World in 80 Days. Now you can tell people that playing on the Wii is a cultural experience ;o)
